Downs Preschool opened on April 30, 1984.

Thanks to our strong educational curriculum, outstanding staff and committment to early childhood learning and development, Downs Preschool stands out as the largest and longest running Georgia Pre-K program in the area. 

We strive to provide each individual child with an environment that encourages self-discovery and a commitment to learning.  Children are encouraged to learn how to solve problems, release their creativity and build social skills with an open, happy heart.  We have a saying that you will hear multiple times a day in every classroom.  WE ARE ALL FRIENDS.  All in all, our curriculum lays the foundation for a lifetime of learning and a lifetime of making new friendships.
